The Limpopo Provincial Treasury invites qualified service providers to submit quotations for the diagnostic assessment and servicing of air conditioning units across three government buildings in Polokwane. This Request for Quotation (LPT/QUT032/2026) requires contractors to evaluate, repair, and maintain HVAC systems at Ismini Towers, Talas Building, and Finance House.
Tender Overview and Scope of Work
The appointed service provider will visit all three sites to conduct diagnostic assessments, diagnose faults, and provide detailed reports on unserviceable units. The scope includes major servicing of identified serviceable units, which encompasses comprehensive cleaning of coils and filters, as well as re-gassing and pressure testing.
Mandatory Requirements for Bidders
Bidders must submit the following with their quotations:
- Valid CIDB 1ME grading or higher
- SAQCC or SARACCA registration with minimum Category B competent person status
- Letter of good standing from the Compensation Commissioner
- Completed SBD forms and valid tax compliance documents
Site Locations and Air Conditioner Units
The three sites requiring service are Ismini Towers at 46 Hans van Rensburg Street, Talas Building at 27 Hans van Rensburg Street, and Finance House at 56/57 Paul Kruger Street. The buildings house various air conditioner models including TCL, York, Carrier, General, Media, Samsung, and Hisense units ranging from 12 BTU to 68 BTU capacities.
Diagnostic and Service Requirements
Service providers must quote on all items listed in the schedule for evaluation purposes. Invoicing will be based on diagnostic outcomes after appointment. Major service and re-gassing will only be invoiced for identified serviceable items. Compliance with SANS 10147 and DFFE refrigerant phase-down regulations is mandatory.
Submission Details and Evaluation
Submit quotations on your company letterhead to the tender box at 46 Hans van Rensburg Street, Polokwane before Friday, 02 October 2026 at 11:00. Prices must be valid for 120 days and inclusive of VAT. This quotation will be evaluated on the 80/20 preference point system.
