The Gauteng Department of Agriculture and Rural Development (GDARD) invites suitably qualified service providers to submit quotations for the maintenance and repair of diesel generators and electrical infrastructure. This Request for Quotation (RFQ AGR0088) targets critical upgrades at the Rooiwal and Soshanguve Agriparks, ensuring reliable power and operational efficiency for regional agricultural development initiatives.
Scope of Required Works
The appointed contractor will be responsible for comprehensive assessments and subsequent repairs over a 147-working-day period. Key deliverables include:
- Comprehensive servicing and repair of diesel generators.
- Rectification of electrical infrastructure, including wiring, fittings, and distribution boards.
- Issuance of a valid Electrical Certificate of Compliance (CoC) upon project completion.
Required Documentation Checklist
Submit the following with your quotation:
- Completed Annexures A and C
- Valid CIBD registration documents
- CV and certified trade qualification (N3 or NQF Level 6 Diploma)
- CIPRO registration and identity documents
- Original tax clearance pin and certificate
- Completed SBD 4 and 6.1 forms
- Recent BBBEE certificate
- Letter of intent to procure contractor risk insurance
Compulsory Site Briefing Session
Attendance at the site briefing is mandatory for all prospective bidders. The session will commence at Rooiwal Agripark (GPS: -25.55295, 28.23345) before proceeding to Soshanguve Agripark (GPS: -25.46688, 28.10770). Bidders must arrive promptly to participate in the on-site assessment.

All proposals and supporting documentation must be submitted exclusively via email to Lebogang.Kau@gauteng.gov.za. Late submissions will not be considered. The absolute closing date and time is Friday, 02 October 2026, at 11:00.
