This procurement initiative ensures that the Group Financial Services department can efficiently process customer payments and issue proof of payment receipts at approximately 30 designated pay points citywide.
Scope of Supply and Technical Requirements
The successful service provider will supply critical point-of-sale consumables, including:
- Thermal bank card rolls (57mm x 40mm, 1-ply)
- Thermal receipt and till rolls (76mm x 76mm, 2-ply white and yellow)
- Original black ribbon cartridges (EPSON ERC-38 B)
- Red and black ribbon spools (CAL 16-GR24) All items must meet strict municipal quality standards and be delivered reliably to maintain uninterrupted customer service operations.
Mandatory Electronic Submission Process
The City of Tshwane is migrating to a fully digital e-tender portal. Bidders must strictly submit their responses via the designated Ariba online platform. Physical deposits in municipal tender boxes will be automatically disqualified.
