    Eligibility Criteria

    • Two or more contactable reference letters for a similar project
    • Documents must be bound in a presentable manner (no loose papers)

    Mandatory Compulsory Documents (Disqualification if missing)

    • Company registration documents (CIPC-CK) reflecting company name, registration number, date of registration, and active directors/members
    • ID (preferably certified) copies of all directors (not older than six months)
    • Valid original Income Tax Clearance Certificate or SARS unique PIN
    • Proof of CSD registration (municipality cannot do business with suppliers not registered on CSD)
    • Valid B-BBEE certificate or sworn affidavit (SANAS accredited – only these will be accepted for preference points)
    • Municipal rates and taxes statement/Clearance Certificate/Municipal Form/lease agreement/proof of residence (not older than three months)
    • Completed MBD forms (1, 4, 6.1, 7.1, 8, 9)
    • Banking details form
    • Joint Venture agreement (if applicable)

    Municipal Rates and Taxes Compliance

    Acceptable proof documents (not older than three months):

    • Municipal rates and taxes statement in company name
    • Clearance Certificate from local municipality in company name
    • Completed Municipal Form with municipality or landlord stamp
    • Official letter from local tribal authority in company name
    • Valid signed lease agreement (not expired at closing date) accompanied by tax invoice/statement from estate agent/landlord
    • If statement is in landlord’s or director’s name: affidavit certified by commissioner of oaths indicating company operates from that address, accompanied by their municipal rates and taxes statement

    Note: No contract shall be concluded with any bidder whose municipal rates and taxes and municipal services charges are in arrears.

    Evaluation Criteria (80/20 Preference Points System)

    • Price: Maximum 80 points (lowest acceptable bid scores 80)
    • Specific Goals: Maximum 20 points

    • Hours: Monday–Thursday 08:00–15:30, Friday 08:00–13:00
