The event will host community stakeholders and NLC representatives, requiring professional, pre-packed meals delivered on time. Event Overview: Community Engagement Through Responsible Catering

Scope of Catering Services
The appointed service provider will deliver:
- Pre-packed lunch boxes for 30 delegates, served at 12:00 PM
- Meals must include a balanced main course, side, and bottled water
- All food must be sealed, labelled, and transported in insulated containers
- Full waste removal using refuse bags after service completion

No on-site preparation or serving staff is required—only timely drop-off of complete meal packs.
Mandatory Submission Requirements
To be considered, quotations must include:
- A completed pricing schedule with firm, VAT-inclusive rates
- Valid SARS Tax Compliance PIN or clearance certificate
- Proof of registration on the Central Supplier Database (CSD)
- B-BBEE Certificate or sworn affidavit (Level 1–8 or EME/QSE)
- Completed Standard Bidding Document 4 (SBD 4 – Declaration of Interest)
- Municipal certificate of acceptability for food premises
All documents must be uploaded in PDF format via the eTenders portal—no emails, faxes, or hard copies will be accepted.
Evaluation Criteria: 80/20 Preferential Procurement System
Quotations will be scored using the 80/20 system:
- 80 points: Price (lowest compliant quote = 80; others scored proportionally)
- 20 points: Specific Goals, including Black, women, youth, disability, and military veteran ownership
Only complete, responsive, and compliant submissions will be evaluated.
