The Human Resources and Social Economic Committee (HRSEC) meeting is a pivotal governance session focused on strategic oversight, operational performance, and policy direction for the new financial year. Given the importance of the agenda, TIKZN requires a catering partner who can deliver nutritious, well-presented meals that support sustained focus and professional engagement throughout the day.
Scope of Catering Services
The successful service provider will deliver:
- Breakfast (served by 08:00):
Scrambled eggs, bacon, mushrooms, baked beans, beef and chicken sausages, white and brown toast, with butter, jam, salt, and pepper - Lunch and refreshments (timing and menu to be confirmed upon award)
- Full tableware: Plates, glasses, cutlery, serving dishes, and utensils
All food must be freshly prepared, health-conscious, and portioned generously for 10 attendees. Service must be discreet, timely, and aligned with a formal boardroom environment.
Mandatory Submission Requirements
To be considered, quotations must include:
- A formal quote on company letterhead, clearly specifying total cost (VAT-inclusive)
- Valid SARS Tax Compliance PIN
- Proof of registration on the Central Supplier Database (CSD)
- B-BBEE Certificate or sworn affidavit (Level 1–8 or EME/QSE)
- Completed Standard Bidding Document 4 (SBD 4 – Declaration of Interest)
Quotations must be submitted exclusively via email—no hard copies, faxes, or postal submissions will be accepted.
Evaluation Criteria: 80/20 Preferential Procurement System
Quotations will be scored using the 80/20 system:
- 80 points: Price (lowest compliant quote = 80; others scored proportionally)
- 20 points: Specific Goals, including Black, women, youth, disability, and military veteran ownership
Only complete, responsive, and compliant submissions will be evaluated.
