    Scope of Services

    The appointed supplier will be responsible for:

    • Supplying frozen food items as required by Tutuka Power Station.
    • Delivering products while maintaining the cold chain.
    • Meeting Eskom’s quality, safety and environmental requirements.
    • Providing products throughout the three-year contract period on an as-and-when-required basis.

    Technical Requirements

    • Refrigerated Vehicles: Use of clean, weatherproof, refrigerated vehicles maintaining temperatures between -5°C and 0°C
    • Food Safety: All production, packaging, storage, and delivery steps must prevent contamination and microbial growth
    • Packaging: Items must be packaged in boxes with clear delivery and expiry dates. Non-compliant items will be returned
    • Certifications: Suppliers must demonstrate compliance with HACCP or ISO 22000 certification

    Tenders must be submitted electronically via the Eskom E-tendering site. All documents must be uploaded in PDF format (500MB per document, 4GB total submission). The price list must be submitted in PDF and a copy in Excel format.
