    NRF Tender: Office Water Dispenser and Bottle Rental

    The National Research Foundation (NRF), through the South African Environmental Observation Network (SAEON), invites qualified service providers to submit quotations for the rental and servicing of an office water dispenser and bottles. This strategic two-year contract aims to ensure a reliable, high-quality hydration solution for the NRF’s Cape Town offices.

    Scope of Services

    The successful bidder will provide:

    • One water dispenser with both ambient and chilled water dispensing capability
    • Five refillable 20-litre water bottles at a time
    • Servicing of the water dispenser when required or provision of a replacement unit in the event of equipment failure
    • Delivery of purified water sealed from the water purification plant through suitable caps
    • Collection of empty water bottles and delivery of new, filled water as and when required
    • Proof of water quality testing from a SANAS accredited laboratory

    Deliveries will be made to the NRF offices located at 8th Floor, The Towers Corner, Hertzog Blvd, Foreshore, Cape Town, 8001.

    Eligibility and Mandatory Documents Required

    Bidders must submit the following documents:

    • Fully completed Procurement Invitation (SBD 1) including SBD 4, SBD 6.1 and signed Bid Submission Certificate form
    • Proof of authority to sign (e.g., company resolution)
    • Proof of registration on the Central Supplier Database (CSD)
    • Valid B-BBEE certificate or Sworn Affidavit
    • Fully completed pricing schedule (SBD 3.1) or quotation on company letterhead
    • Proof of water quality testing from a SANAS accredited laboratory

    Submission Guidelines

    Quotations and all supporting legislative and technical documents must be submitted electronically via email as specified in the tender documentation. Bidders must ensure full compliance with all eligibility criteria to avoid immediate disqualification.
