This strategic procurement supports the Shova Ufunde Bicycle Handover Event at Tshireleco Secondary School in Kimberley, Northern Cape, reinforcing ATNS’s commitment to corporate social investment and community development.
Scope of Services
The successful bidder will deliver integrated event solutions for 90 VIP delegates. Key deliverables include:
- Professional décor setup and marquee installation
- High-quality sound system provision and technical support
- Full catering services including hot meals, refreshments, and beverages
- Supply of all necessary crockery, cutlery, and serving equipment
- Complete setup, service delivery, and breakdown operations

Submission Requirements
ATNS enforces strict electronic submission protocols for this Request for Quotation. All proposals must be submitted exclusively via the e-Submission (e-Tender) system. Email submissions will not be accepted or processed under any circumstances. Bidders must ensure all pricing is quoted in South African Rand (ZAR) inclusive of VAT.
Mandatory Requirements
- Minimum two contactable reference letters in catering services on official client letterhead, signed and dated, with work completed within the past seven years
- Valid Health Certificate (Certificate of Acceptability) from the local municipality
- Locality footprint in Kimberley or Bloemfontein with municipality bill, lease, title deed, official letter from local councillor, or agreement with locally based partner
- Valid Tax Compliance Status PIN
- Proof of registration on Central Supplier Database (CSD)
- Completed SBD 1, SBD 3.1, SBD 4, and SBD 6.1 forms
Evaluation Criteria
Responsive bids will be evaluated based on administrative compliance, technical capability, pricing competitiveness, and the ability to deliver integrated event services that meet ATNS’s quality standards. Preference will be given to providers with proven experience in corporate event management.
