Scope of Work and Site Details
The service will be rendered at the Hlanganani Magistrate Court, covering an estimated area of 3855.55 m². The facility serves approximately 300 occupants and visitors daily, operating 8 hours a day, 5 days a week. The contractor will be required to provide:
- A team of 6 cleaners and 1 supervisor
- Comprehensive interior cleaning including dusting, floor care, window cleaning, and sanitary services
- Provision of all necessary cleaning materials, consumables, and equipment
- Waste management and sanitary bin disposal services
Mandatory Requirements
Bidders must submit the following documents with their bid:
- Proof of registration on the Central Supplier Database (CSD)
- Company registration certificate and ID copies of directors
- Valid and active COIDA registration in cleaning services
- Proof of ownership of a bakkie/panel van (registration certificate in company or director’s name)
- Track record of similar projects within the past 10 years (minimum 3 completion letters with appointment letters or purchase orders, minimum value R400,000 each)
- Proof of liability insurance cover for cleaning services (minimum R2,000,000)
- Compliance with the National Minimum Wage for Contract Cleaning Sector (Area C)
Evaluation and Preference Points
The 80/20 preference point system will apply. Bidders must claim points for specific goals, including:
- 10 points for EME/QSE or entities at least 51% owned by Black people
- 4 points for entities at least 51% owned by Black women
- 2 points for locality in the specific area
- 2 points for entities at least 51% owned by people with disabilities or youth
Submission Details
Bid documents are available for free download from the eTenders portal. Bids must be deposited in the tender box at the Polokwane Regional Office, Old Mutual Building, by the closing date and time. Telegraphic, telephonic, or faxed bids will not be accepted. All documents must be completed in non-erasable ink with corrections initialled.
