Scope of Work
The successful supplier will produce long-sleeve t-shirts according to specific technical requirements. The garment must feature:
- Garment: Adult long-sleeve t-shirt in black, unisex regular fit, 100% combed cotton (180-200gsm), crew neck with ribbed cuffs
- Front Design: MBTC logo on the left chest and DSAC logo on the right chest, full colour, approximately 80mm wide
- Back Design: Four MBTC festival logos (WIAM, Mandela Bay Jazz Legacy, iPhulo Drama, Udaba Dance) in one horizontal row across the shoulder blades, A4 landscape size (297 x 210mm)
- Printing Method: Full colour DTF or high-quality screen print
Mandatory Requirements
Failure to comply will result in immediate disqualification:
- Complete MBTC RFQ forms and attach company letterhead quotation
- Prices must be VAT inclusive and include delivery costs
- Provide a detailed price breakdown
- Quotation must remain valid for 90 days
- Completed SBD 4 (Bidder’s Disclosure) and SBD 6.1 (Preference Points Claim Form) must be attached
- CSD registration is compulsory – provide supplier number (MAAA)
Evaluation and Preference Points
The 80/20 preference point system applies, where 80 points are allocated for price and 20 points for specific goals, based on:
- Youth, women, and black ownership (up to 4 points each)
- Locality: Based in Nelson Mandela Bay Metro (4 points), Eastern Cape (3 points), neighbouring provinces (2 points), other provinces (1 point), outside RSA (0 points)

- Delivery of completed shirts is required by 18 August 2026
- No prepayment or upfront payment will be made
