Scope of the Opportunity
The successful bidder will be responsible for providing refreshments for delegates attending the City’s Women’s Empowerment Conference.

- Certified copy of a Certificate of Acceptability (CoA) for basic food safety and hygiene issued by Ehlanzeni District Municipality or equivalent
- Certified copy of qualification, certified ID copy, and comprehensive CV of the project leader (minimum 3 years experience in food handling and preparation; minimum certificate in food handling and preparation or higher)
Experience and References:
- At least one certified copy of an appointment letter / purchase order with a certified reference letter for catering services (200+ people)
- Company profile demonstrating relevant experience
Municipal Compliance:
- Current municipal rates and taxes statements for the business premises
- Current municipal rates and taxes statements for each active director
- For leased premises: valid lease agreement together with lessor’s current municipal rates and taxes statement
- Accounts must not be in arrears for more than three months
B-BBEE Requirements:
- B-BBEE certificate issued by a SANAS accredited verification agency or registered auditor approved by IRBA
- Exempted Micro Enterprises (EMEs) and Qualifying Small Enterprises (QSEs) may submit a sworn affidavit
