The National Transmission Company South Africa (NTCSA), a subsidiary of Eskom, has issued an open tender (E1468NTCSAKZNR) for the provision of catering services to the NTCSA East Grid. This strategic three-year contract targets professional hospitality firms to support operational facilities in KwaZulu-Natal.
Scope of Services and Operational Support
The appointed service provider will deliver comprehensive catering services at the East Grid facility located in Westville, Durban. Reliable, high-quality food services are essential for maintaining the well-being and productivity of the technical and administrative staff managing the region’s critical power transmission infrastructure.
Electronic Submission and Enquiries
In alignment with Eskom’s digital procurement strategy, all bid proposals must be submitted electronically via the National Treasury’s eTender portal. Physical submissions will not be accepted. Furthermore, no clarification meeting is scheduled; all technical enquiries must be directed via email.

Bidders must adhere to stringent health, safety, and environmental standards. Submissions require comprehensive documentation, including the Supplier Development Localisation and Industrialisation (SDLI) strategy, Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) evaluations, and a completed pricing schedule.
