Artscape, a premier cultural institution in the Western Cape, has issued Request for Quotation RFQ035/2026 for the provision of ambulance and medical services. This targeted procurement aims to ensure the safety and well-being of attendees at two major upcoming arts and cultural events in and around Cape Town.
Scope of Services and Event Coverage
The appointed medical service provider will be responsible for deploying fully equipped ambulances and qualified medical personnel. The mandate requires the provision of one Intermediate Life Support (ILS) representative, one Basic Ambulance Aid (BBA) representative, all necessary medical equipment, and an on-site ambulance for the duration of each event.
Event Schedule and Venues
The successful bidder must be prepared to mobilize to the following locations:
- Event 1: Concert at First Community Centre, 10 Lansur Road, Hanover Park on Saturday, 11 July 2026 (12:00 to 18:00).
- Event 2: Women’s Arts Ability Festival at Artscape Theatre, DF Malan Street, Foreshore on Saturday, 09 August 2026 (09:00 to 17:00).

- Completed and signed SBD8: Declaration of Past Supply Chain Management Practices
- Completed and signed SBD9: Certificate of Independent Bid Determination
