The Western Cape Department of Agriculture has issued an open tender (Bid 939 2026/2027) for the rendering of comprehensive cleaning services at the Elsenburg facility. This strategic three-year contract, running from 01 September 2026 to 31 August 2029, targets suitably experienced facility management companies to maintain a pristine environment at the provincial agricultural hub.
Scope of Work and Staffing Requirements
The appointed service provider will deliver daily cleaning services across designated areas at Elsenburg Farm. The operational scope requires the deployment of a dedicated team comprising two supervisors and 32 cleaners to ensure all service level agreements are strictly met during standard working hours.
Mandatory Transport and Operational Rules
To guarantee seamless operations, the successful bidder must provide an enclosed vehicle with a full-time, licensed driver. This vehicle must be available on-site daily from 07:00 to 16:00 for the transportation of staff, cleaning materials, and equipment between sites.
Mandatory Requirements
Bidders must submit:
- Completed WCBD 1, WCBD 3, WCBD 4, and WCBD 6.1 forms
- Valid B-BBEE certificate or sworn affidavit
- CSD registration report
- Detailed price breakdown (valid for 120 days)
- Valid COIDA Letter of Good Standing
- UIF registration proof
- Financial statements (aged debtor/creditor reports)
- Proof of vehicle ownership or rental agreement
- Three contactable reference letters (Annexure B)
