The Gauteng Growth and Development Agency (GGDA) invites qualified service providers to submit bids for the appointment of a cleaning and hygiene services provider for the InvestSA Gauteng office. This Request for Bid (GGDA/01/2026-27/CLEANING SERVICES) targets established facility management contractors capable of delivering professional cleaning solutions over a 36-month contract period at The Place, Sandton.
Service Requirements and Deliverables
The appointed service provider will deliver comprehensive cleaning and hygiene services including:
- Daily cleaning of offices, meeting rooms, reception areas, and ablution facilities
- Supply of cleaning consumables, equipment, and labour as per scope specifications
- Adherence to green economy principles and environmentally friendly cleaning products
- Deployment of qualified supervisors and trained cleaning staff in company uniforms
- Compliance with occupational health and safety regulations and SABS standards
Eligibility and Submission Criteria
Bidders must demonstrate:
- Valid registration on the National Treasury Central Supplier Database (CSD)
- Proven experience in commercial or corporate cleaning contracts
- Completed Standard Bidding Documents and pricing schedules
- Valid tax compliance status and B-BBEE verification certificate
- Capacity to deliver services at the InvestSA Gauteng office in Sandton

Attendance at the pre-bid clarification meeting is mandatory. Bidders who fail to attend will be disqualified.

Submission Guidelines Bids must be submitted using the strictly enforced two-envelope system: one envelope for technical proposals (original hardcopy + USB) and one for financial proposals (original hardcopy + USB).
