    BMA seeks suppliers for camera equipment, lighting & microphones

    Border Management Authority (BMA) invites qualified audiovisual equipment suppliers to submit quotations for the supply of camera equipment, photography lighting, and microphones. This Request for Quotation (H004L2704RFQ00001) targets established suppliers capable of delivering professional-grade equipment to support BMA’s communication, documentation, and media production requirements at its Centurion facility.

    Equipment Specifications and Requirements

    The procurement encompasses professional audiovisual equipment including:

    • High-resolution digital cameras suitable for official documentation and media production
    • Professional photography lighting kits with adjustable intensity and colour temperature
    • Wired and wireless microphone systems for interviews, press briefings, and recording
    • Supporting accessories: tripods, memory cards, batteries, and carrying cases
    • All equipment must be new, genuine, and sourced from authorised distributors with valid manufacturer warranties

    Eligibility and Submission Criteria

    Bidders must demonstrate:

    • Valid registration on the National Treasury Central Supplier Database (CSD)
    • Proven experience in supplying professional audiovisual equipment to government or corporate clients
    • Completed Standard Bidding Documents (SBD 1, SBD 4, SBD 6.1)
    • Valid tax compliance status and B-BBEE verification certificate or sworn affidavit
    • Proof of supply arrangements with manufacturers or accredited distributors

    Pricing and Evaluation Framework

    Quotations will be evaluated using the 80/20 preference point system:

    • 80 points allocated for price competitiveness (firm, VAT-inclusive pricing required)
    • 20 points allocated for specific goals, including SMME status and black ownership criteria
    • All prices must include delivery costs to 67 Koranna Avenue, Doringkloof, Centurion, Pretoria, 0157
