Scope of Work: Catering for House Sittings and Special Events
The successful panel of service providers will deliver high-quality catering services for GPL House Sittings and related events. The Legislature has approximately 80 Members and 60 staff members who require catering during official proceedings. Services must align with industry standards and GPL specifications.
Core service requirements:
- Prepare and present high-quality food and beverages aligned with GPL menus (see Annexure A in tender document)
- Cater to diverse dietary requirements and cultural preferences
- Ensure timely delivery and setup at specified venues
- Provide all necessary equipment: cutlery, crockery, tablecloths, overlays, serving dishes, warm trays
- Supply condiments, serviettes, toothpicks, and pre-packed beverages (coffee, tea, milk, sugar, sweetener)
- Maintain strict hygiene, health, and safety compliance throughout service delivery
Important service standards:
- No plastic cutlery, crockery, or paper plates permitted unless pre-packaged offerings are specifically requested
- Tablecloths must be black, white, or cream (final colour advised per event)
- Food presentation must meet professional catering industry standards
- Price adjustments permitted once per annum, subject to CPI and prior written GPL approval
- All pricing must be VAT inclusive and cover preparation, transportation, setup, and all associated costs
