SAICA Enterprise Development (SAICA ED) has opened applications for its 8-month specialised online enterprise development programme, designed for passionate, committed business owners seeking structured growth support. The initiative targets Black-owned SMMEs that are already operational, generating revenue, and led by full-time owners registered with CIPC. The programme officially launches on 1 April 2026, with applications closing on 25 March 2026.
This is a high-impact, cohort-based opportunity offering mentorship, business diagnostics, and sector-specific guidance—tailored to help entrepreneurs scale sustainably and access new markets.
Programme Focus: Building Resilient, Revenue-Generating Businesses
The programme is not for start-ups or idea-stage ventures—it is for businesses that have moved beyond concept and are ready to accelerate. Key focus areas include:
- Financial management and cash flow optimisation
- Market expansion and customer acquisition
- Operational efficiency and systems scaling
- Pitch preparation and investor readiness
- Compliance, governance, and strategic planning
Participants will engage in live virtual sessions, one-on-one coaching, peer learning circles, and practical assignments—all delivered through a dedicated online platform.
Eligibility Criteria: Who Qualifies?
To be considered, applicants must meet all the following requirements:
- Business must be more than 51% Black-owned
- Owner must be full-time and actively involved in daily operations
- Business must be CIPC-registered with up-to-date annual returns
- Must demonstrate tax compliance (SARS PIN or clearance)
- Must hold valid BBBEE certificate (or sworn affidavit if EME/QSE)
- Must be generating revenue (proof required)
- All applicants to have an accountant in their business.
Preference will be given to women- and youth-owned businesses, and to enterprises operating in priority sectors—including ICT, logistics, food & beverage, transport, construction, and waste management.

SAICA Enterprise Development prioritises SMMEs based in the following provinces and sectors:
- Provinces: KZN, Eastern Cape, Western Cape, Gauteng, Free State
- Sectors: ICT, Logistics, Tourism, Food & Beverage, Transport, Marketing & Communications, Construction, Insurance, Stationery, Printing & Manufacturing, Carpentry, Security, Waste Management, Courier/Delivery, Packaging, Cleaning & Pest Control
