Seriti, in partnership with Zevoli Growth Partners, has opened applications for the Seriti Enterprise Development Programme (EDP) 2026—a free, 12-month capacity-building initiative designed to strengthen the operational foundations of small, medium, and micro enterprises (MSMEs) operating in or near Seriti’s mining host communities. The programme targets businesses that are already trading but face challenges in systems, compliance, and scalability. Applications close on Friday, 20 February 2026.
This is not a grant or procurement opportunity—it is a high-impact development intervention focused on operational excellence, sustainability, and readiness for inclusion in formal value chains.
Why This Programme Matters
Mining-adjacent MSMEs often possess strong technical skills and local market knowledge—but struggle with financial management, record-keeping, regulatory compliance, and strategic planning. The Seriti EDP bridges this gap by offering tailored coaching, peer learning, and practical tools to help businesses transition from informal survival to structured growth. Graduates gain credibility, improved systems, and stronger positioning for partnerships with Seriti and its contractors.
Programme Focus Areas
The 12-month journey covers:
- Business Systems & Compliance: Financial controls, tax registration, CIPC, COIDA, and municipal licensing
- Operational Discipline: SOPs, inventory management, quality assurance, and service delivery standards
- Strategic Planning: Market analysis, pricing, client acquisition, and growth roadmaps
- Value Chain Readiness: Understanding tender processes, contract management, and supplier requirements
- Peer Cohort Learning: Monthly workshops, mentorship, and collaborative problem-solving
All content is delivered in accessible language, with flexible scheduling to accommodate working entrepreneurs.
