    Vuselela TVET College Seeks Student Attire Supplier

    Vuselela TVET College in the North West Province has issued a Request for Quotation (RFQ) under reference number SSS/SRC-A1/2026 for the supply and delivery of Student Support Services Attire across its campuses in Klerksdorp, Jouberton, Taung, and Potchefstroom. The procurement supports uniformity, identity, and professional presentation among student support staff who play a vital role in campus operations and learner engagement. Submissions must be hand-delivered in hard copy by 11:00 on Thursday, 12 February 2026, to the College’s Sanlam Building in Klerksdorp.

    This is a time-sensitive opportunity with a narrow response window—suppliers are urged to act promptly and ensure full compliance.

    Scope of Supply: Branded Attire for Student Support Staff

    The successful supplier will deliver:

    • Custom-branded uniforms including shirts, jackets, and accessories
    • High-quality, durable materials suitable for daily institutional use
    • Garments featuring official Vuselela TVET College branding (logos and colours as specified)
    • Sizes to accommodate diverse staff members across four campuses

    All items must be new, unused, and compliant with South African manufacturing standards. Deliveries must be made to each campus as scheduled by the College.

    Mandatory Submission Requirements

    To be considered, quotations must include:

    • A completed pricing schedule with unit price, VAT (15%), and total amount
    • Valid SARS Tax Compliance PIN or clearance certificate
    • Proof of registration on the Central Supplier Database (CSD)
    • B-BBEE Certificate or sworn affidavit (Level 1–8 or EME/QSE)
    • Completed Standard Bidding Documents: SBD 4 (Declaration of Interest) and SBD 6.1 (Preference Points Claim)
    • Confirmation of accredited representation in South Africa (if applicable)

    Quotations must be submitted on the official forms provided—no retyped or altered documents will be accepted.

    Evaluation Criteria: 80/20 Preferential Procurement System

    Quotations will be scored using the 80/20 system:

    • 80 points: Price (lowest compliant quote = 80; others scored proportionally)
    • 20 points: Specific Goals, including:
      • 5 points: Historically Disadvantaged Individuals (HDIs)
      • 8 points: Locality (within Vuselela TVET operational areas: Klerksdorp, Jouberton, Taung, Potchefstroom)
      • 3 points: Youth ownership
      • 2 points: Women ownership
      • 2 points: SMME promotion

    Only complete, responsive, and compliant submissions will be evaluated.
