The Ukusimama Foundation, a purpose-driven organisation advancing clean energy, sustainability, and inclusive development across Africa, is proud to launch the Women in Energy & Sustainability Mentorship Programme 2026. This high-impact initiative is designed to identify, empower, and accelerate the leadership of women working, or aspiring to work, in the critical sectors of energy, water, climate resilience, and sustainable development. Applications close on 10 February 2026, and the selected cohort will benefit from expert mentorship, peer networking, and strategic career development over the course of the year.
Why This Programme Matters
Africa faces urgent challenges in energy access, water security, and climate adaptation, yet women remain significantly underrepresented in decision-making and technical roles across these sectors. The Ukusimama Foundation addresses this gap by investing in talent, fostering leadership pipelines, and building communities of practice. The 2026 cohort will join a growing network of changemakers who are shaping policy, innovation, and implementation on the continent.
