Compulsory Site Visit

Scope of Work
The successful service provider will be responsible for the supply and installation of a 1.8m palisade fence at the Leslie Post Office building. The scope of work is detailed in the Bills of Quantities/Pricing Schedule . The property accommodates Mail Operations and the Retail Office .
Mandatory Requirements
Bidders must ensure compliance with the following gatekeeping criteria:
- CIDB Registration: Minimum grade 1GB with active status, valid on the closing date
- BOQ/Pricing Schedule: Completed and submitted
- COIDA Certificate: Valid Letter of Good Standing from the Compensation Fund
- CSD Registration: Proof of registration on the Central Supplier Database
- SBD Forms: Completed and signed SBD 1 and SBD 4
- Tax Compliance: Valid SARS Tax Compliance PIN
All work must comply with the Occupational Health and Safety Act, 1993, and Local Municipal Bye-Laws.

Specific Goals and Evaluation
The bid will be evaluated on a phased basis using the 80/20 preference point system, where 80 points are for price and 20 points are for specific goals. Specific goals include black ownership (10 points), youth ownership (5 points), women ownership (3 points), and disability ownership (2 points). Bidders who do not submit specific goal requirements will score zero points but will not be disqualified.
