- Stakeholder coordination with national departments, NGOs, traditional leaders, and community organizations
- Brand development, promotional content creation, and media relations management
- Vendor procurement, budget oversight, and post-event reporting
Key Submission Deadlines
Proposals must be submitted by Friday, 15 May 2026, at 10:30 to the City of Johannesburg offices at 48 Ameshoff Street, Braamfontein. Late submissions will not be considered. The tender operates under an 80/20 preference point system, prioritizing price competitiveness alongside local enterprise development.
Returnable Documents
All proposals must be submitted with:
- Proof of company registration (CK)
- Valid B-BBEE accreditation certificate or certified copy issued by verification agencies accredited by SANAS; sworn affidavit issued by SAPS or Commissioner of Oath
- Valid one-time pin (OTP) for tender issued by SARS
- Fully completed and signed ALL MBD forms (MBD 1, MBD 3.1, MBD 4, MBD 6.1, MBD 8, MBD 9, MBD 10)
- Fully completed and signed Form of Bid
- Fully completed and signed Declaration of State of Municipal Account
- Certified ID copies of all directors
- Proof of registration on National Treasury CSD or copy of CSD report or M-AAA number
- Fully completed and signed City of Johannesburg pricing schedule
- Signed contactable reference letters on letterhead confirming completion of similar projects (not more than 2 years old)
- Project plan covering scope of work, deliverables, and milestones
- Company profile with curriculum vitae of the appointed project team leader
- Recent Municipal rates and taxes for company and all directors not in arrears for more than 90 days, or affidavit, or lease agreement not older than three months signed by landlord and tenant (if in arrears must provide proof of acknowledgement of debt)
- Valid Certificate of Acceptability (CoA) in the name of the bidder. Where there is a business agreement with a third party, the CoA must be in the name of the relevant third party.
- Joint Venture agreements, where applicable (including valid consolidated B-BBEE certificate verified by SANAS, separate OTP for each JV member, separate CSD registration)
- Business agreement for kosher and halaal catering
Compulsory Briefing Details
Attendance at the compulsory briefing session is mandatory for bid consideration. The session will be held at the 2nd Floor, 100 Carr Street, Newtown Junction Shopping Mall, Newtown, Johannesburg. Bidders are advised to arrive early and bring identification for registration purposes.
