The Road Traffic Management Corporation (RTMC) invites qualified IT service providers to submit bids for appointment to a panel delivering information technology and related services nationally. This Request for Bid (RTMC BID 01/2026/27) targets established technology partners capable of supporting RTMC’s operational continuity and NaTIS system requirements over a three-year contract period, with an option to extend for two additional years.
IT Services and Technical Requirements
The appointed panel will provide comprehensive IT solutions including:
- Supply of information systems hardware and business/IT equipment
- Software supply, support, and maintenance services
- Purchase and renewal of software licenses
- Technical support and maintenance for RTMC and NaTIS infrastructure
- On-demand service delivery aligned with Annual Performance Plan objectives
Mandatory Briefing Registration Process
Attendance at the virtual clarification session is compulsory. Bidders must register by 12:00 on Monday, 20 April 2026, submitting:

- Name and Surname of Representative
- Briefing Date: Wednesday, 22 April 2026 at 10:00

Eligibility and Submission Criteria
Bidders must demonstrate valid CSD registration, proven experience in IT service delivery to government entities, completed Standard Bidding Documents (SBD 1, SBD 4, SBD 6.1), valid tax compliance status, and B-BBEE verification. Reference letters with supporting purchase orders must be submitted using the prescribed template.
Evaluation and Preference Points
Proposals undergo functionality assessment covering company profile, project experience, and technical capability (minimum threshold applies). Successful bidders proceed to price and specific goals evaluation using the 80/20 preference point system under the Preferential Procurement Regulations 2022.
