Tender reference MAPW RFQ 052/2025/26 closes on 01 April 2026 at 11:00. Sealed quotations clearly marked with the tender number must be deposited in Bid Box “B” at No. 2 Old Industrial Area, Mandela Park, Phuthaditjhaba, 9866.
Promotional Items Specification and Quantities
The procurement comprises the following branded items for corporate events and exhibitions:
- 5 x Outdoor expo telescopic banners, double-sided frame 3m, size 0.7m(w) x 2.5m(l)
- 5 x Pull-up banners, 800mm x 2000mm high
- 5 x Tear-drop banners, 2180mm x 890mm, double-sided
- 2 x Wall banners, 3000mm(w) x 2250mm(h)
- 2 x Gazebos, 3m x 4.5m
- 3 x Plastic folding tables, 2.4 meters
- 6 x MaP Water branded table cloths, 2.4m x 3.2m
All items must feature the Maluti-a-Phofung Water logo and meet professional quality standards.
Eligibility and Mandatory Submission Requirements
Bidders must be registered on the Central Supplier Database (CSD) and submit a valid SARS Tax Compliance Status PIN. Additional mandatory documents include:
- Certified Company Registration Certificate reflecting active members
- Company profile and quotation on official letterhead
- Municipal rates clearance certificate (not exceeding three months arrears)
- Valid B-BBEE verification certificate or sworn affidavit for preference points
- Completed MBD forms 1, 3.1, 4, 6.1, 7.1, 8 and 9
Evaluation Criteria and Preference Points System
Quotations will be adjudicated using the 80/20 Preferential Procurement System. Price accounts for 80 points, while 20 points are allocated to specific goals:
- HDI ownership (51% or more): 5 points
- Youth ownership (51% or more): 5 points
- Women ownership (51% or more): 4 points
- Locality: Maluti-a-Phofung (6), Thabo Mofutsanyana (4), Free State (2), Outside Free State (0)
