Scope of Work
The successful bidder will be responsible for a comprehensive range of ICT equipment and consumables. The scope includes:
- Desktops, laptops, servers, and server cabinets.
- Office printers, scanners, plotters, and projectors.
- UPS systems, batteries, and firewall hardware.
- Network switches, NAS devices, and backup hard drives.
- Biometric security access systems and televisions.
- A wide array of consumables such as laptop bags, chargers, mice, USB drives, cables, adapters, keyboards, RAM, and power banks.
Mandatory Documents Required
Bidders must submit several mandatory documents, including:
- A valid Tax Compliance Status PIN or CSD number.
- A completed Declaration of Interest (MBD4).
- A pricing schedule and the official Invitation to Bid (MBD1).
- Proof of municipal account standing or a consent form for verification.
- Company registration documents and director IDs.
- A completed Compulsory Enterprise Questionnaire and Authority of Signatory form.
Evaluation Criteria
The evaluation will follow a two-stage process. First, functionality will be assessed out of 100 points, with a minimum qualifying threshold of 80 points. Points are awarded for company experience (up to 40 points), key personnel qualifications (up to 40 points), and bank rating (up to 20 points). Only bidders meeting the 80-point threshold will proceed to the second stage, where the 80/20 preference point system applies, allocating 80 points for price and 20 points for specific goals.
