The North West Department of Health invites qualified printing and supply service providers to submit bids for a strategic four-year contract. This open tender aims to ensure the consistent, high-quality, and timely printing, supply, and delivery of medical stationery, promotional materials, and signage for health institutions across the province.
Scope of Services
The successful bidder will be responsible for comprehensive printing and logistics operations. Key deliverables include:
- Printing and supplying medical stationery and official documents.
- Producing promotional materials and institutional signage.
- Ensuring bulk printing capabilities and customized options.
- Guaranteeing on-time delivery to meet the department’s operational demands.
Mandatory Requirements for Bidders
Bidders must submit the following mandatory documents:
- Valid Tax Compliance Status PIN from SARS
- Completed and signed SBD 1, SBD 3.2, SBD 4 and SBD 6.1 forms
- Certified copies of identity documents of all directors and main shareholders
- Company registration certificate from CIPC
- Valid B-BBEE certificate or sworn affidavit
- Proof of registration on the Central Supplier Database (CSD)
- ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System certification
- ISO 45001:2018 Occupational Health and Safety certification
- Proof of operational production facility in South Africa
- Asset inventory of printing and finishing machinery
- Proof of transport and delivery capability (minimum 4 x 1-ton vehicles)

Submission Guidelines
Bidders must ensure their proposals are duly completed, signed, and sealed in an envelope clearly marked with the bid number, company name, and closing details. The envelope must be deposited in the Bid Box at the entrance of the Department of Health North West, New Office Park Building, Ground Floor, Corner First Street and Sekame, Mmabatho, before the strict closing time. Couriered documents must be deposited by the courier before closing; the Department is not responsible for late deliveries.
