Nkangala TVET College invites qualified service providers to submit bids for the appointment of a panel to supply and deliver Learner and Teaching Support Material (LTSM). This strategic five-year contract aims to ensure the continuous, reliable availability of essential educational and operational resources across the college’s campuses in Mpumalanga.
Scope of Supply
The successful service providers will be required to supply and deliver:
- Textbooks and learning materials
- Stationery for students and staff
- Electronic devices and gadgets for students
- Protective clothing for students
- Consumables for workshops and laboratories
- Workshop machinery and equipment
- Other student-related teaching and learning materials
- Computers for computer labs and students

Mandatory Requirements for Bidders
Bidders must submit the following compulsory documents:
- Initialed and signed declaration from the RFP document
- Stamped proof of bank account not older than three months
- Company registration documents (CK)
- Certified copy of ID of director(s) not older than six months
- Summary of Tax Compliant CSD report not older than three months
- Valid Board Resolution if not a sole proprietor
- Completed and signed SBD forms including SBD 1, SBD 4, SBD 8 and SBD 9

Evaluation Criteria
Responsive bids will undergo a rigorous two-stage evaluation. Bidders must first achieve a minimum functionality threshold of 70 points, which is heavily weighted towards previous experience (e.g., five contactable reference letters in the public education sector yield 50 points). Successful bidders will then be evaluated using the 80/20 preferential procurement point system, with specific goal points allocated for locality (Nkangala Region: 15 points; broader Mpumalanga: 10 points).
