    Dawid Kruiper Municipality Clear View Fencing Installation Tender

    The Dawid Kruiper Local Municipality invites qualified contractors to submit bids for the installation of a clear view fence at the municipal nursery. This strategic infrastructure upgrade aims to enhance the security, safety, and perimeter control of municipal assets in Upington, Northern Cape.

    Scope of Work

    The successful bidder will be responsible for the comprehensive installation of the fencing. Key deliverables include:

    • Supplying and installing 313 meters of 2.4-meter clear view fencing as per municipal specifications.
    • Safely removing the existing fence and transporting it to the municipal stores, approximately 2 kilometers from the site.
    • Ensuring all labor, materials, and transport costs are included in the quoted price.
    • Completing the construction within a maximum period of two months.

    Mandatory Requirements

    • Minimum CIDB grading Level 2 SQ or higher
    • Proof of registration on Central Supplier Database (CSD)
    • Valid Tax Compliance Status PIN
    • Municipal account not older than 3 months and not in arrears for more than 90 days
    • Manufacturer’s brochure or similar proof of product must be submitted with the tender
    • Completed MBD 1, MBD 4, MBD 6.1, MBD 7.1, MBD 8, and MBD 9 forms

    Submission Guidelines

    Completed bid documents must be sealed in an envelope clearly marked with the tender number and description. Proposals must be deposited in the official municipal tender box at the Civic Centre, Mutual Street, Upington, before the strict closing deadline. Late, emailed, or faxed submissions will not be accepted.
