    CIDB Offers Free eRoC Training for Grade 1–9 Contractors

    The Construction Industry Development Board (cidb) is hosting a complimentary eRoC Training session on 28 July 2026, designed to empower Grade 1 to 9 contractors to confidently navigate the electronic Register of Contractors (eRoC) portal. This initiative aims to streamline the online registration and grading process for both industry newcomers and seasoned professionals.

    Purpose of the eRoC Training

    The cidb eRoC is the official online registration portal for contractors. This training session will guide participants through the digital application process, ensuring accurate data entry, seamless document uploads, and a simplified overall registration experience.

    Mandatory Requirements for First-Time Users

    To successfully create a company profile and begin the online registration journey, first-time users must have the following ready:

    • A valid National Treasury Central Supplier Database (CSD) number.
    • A permanent, accessible email address for all future cidb correspondence.
    • An active cellular phone number to receive a secure PIN during the transaction.
    • A valid bank card (Visa, Mastercard, or American Express) with a minimum balance of R450.00 to cover the registration fee.
