The South African Diamond and Precious Metals Regulator (SADPMR) invites bids for the appointment of a professional security service provider to render security services at its Head Office in Kempton Park. Compulsory Briefing Session
A compulsory briefing session will be held on 24 July 2026 at 10:00 AM in the SADPMR Main Boardroom, located on the corner of Bonaero Drive and Cote D Azur Avenue, Kempton Park. Attendance is mandatory for consideration. Bidders must ensure they arrive on time, as no latecomers will be entertained.
Scope of Work and Service Requirements
The successful bidder will be responsible for rendering comprehensive security services at the SADPMR Head Office. The contract requires a service provider with proven experience in physical security, access control, and risk management. The full bid specification is available in the annexure documents.
Mandatory Submission Requirements
Bidders must submit the following documents to be considered responsive:
- Completed and signed SBD forms (SBD 1, SBD 3.1, SBD 4, SBD 6.1)
- Valid Tax Compliance Status PIN or Tax Clearance Certificate
- CSD Full Report (latest downloaded, with CSD number)
- CIPC Registration Certificate
- Certified copies of ID’s of all directors
- Price Response schedule (completed and signed)
- Proof of attendance at the compulsory briefing session
Evaluation and Preference Points
The tender will be evaluated using the 80/20 preference point system. The 20 points for specific goals are allocated as follows:
- Enterprises owned by black women (51% shareholding): 10 points
- Entities that are small, medium, and micro enterprises: 5 points
- Entities owned by youth (51% shareholding): 5 points
Rights Reserved and Disqualification
SADPMR reserves the right to disqualify any bid that fails to comply with mandatory requirements, contains false or misleading information, or engages in conduct that compromises the integrity of the procurement process. The regulator also reserves the right to cancel, suspend, or withdraw this bid process at any stage.
