The Mr Price Foundation is calling on aspiring agricultural entrepreneurs to seize a life-changing opportunity with its Handpicked Agripreneur Development Programme. This 12-month intensive incubation programme is designed to help emerging farmers gain practical experience, develop business skills, and access opportunities that support long-term growth.
The programme is hosted at the Tarlton Agri-Park in Mogale City, a facility representing a significant investment of over R43 million in agricultural infrastructure, including production tunnels, irrigation systems, cold rooms, and a solar unit. This is where opportunity meets the soil, offering a platform for passionate individuals to build sustainable agribusinesses.

Who Should Apply?
This programme is open to individuals who are:
- Youth (18-35)
- Women and aspiring entrepreneurs
- Individuals with farming exposure through learnerships, work experience, or demonstrated passion
- Serious about building an agribusiness
- South African citizens with a passion for crop production
Preference is given to candidates living in or near communities where the programme is establishing agri-incubators. Candidates with a completed diploma or degree in agriculture, farm management, or crop production are prioritised, though applicants from other agricultural sectors with a passion for crop production are also considered.
