KwaZulu-Natal Economic Regulatory Authority (KZNERA) has issued a Request for Quotation (REQ0989-16062026) for the supply, delivery, and installation of a steel gate at Putellos Primary School in the Mbumbulu area. This once-off infrastructure upgrade aims to enhance security and safety for learners and staff at the educational facility.
Scope of Works and Technical Specifications
The appointed service provider will fabricate, deliver, and install a 6-meter mild steel industrial gate. The project is governed by the JBCC Minor Works Agreement. Key technical requirements include:
- A 50x50x3 square tube frame with 25mm mild steel round bars.
- Installation of a school nameplate on the gate.
- Supply and installation of a D10 smart motor with an anti-theft bracket.
- Programming of two gate remotes.
- A mandatory 12-month guarantee on all repairs and replaced parts.
