Tender Overview and Scope
This once-off procurement covers the supply and installation of a new 10,000-liter Jojo water tank at the RAF Head Office, 2 Eco Glades, 420 Witch-Hazel Avenue, Centurion. The scope includes removal and disposal of the existing tank, installation of inlet and outlet piping, overflow piping, isolation valves, tank connectors and fittings, connection to the existing plumbing system, leak testing, site cleaning, and commissioning.
Technical Specifications Required
The replacement tank must meet the following minimum standards:
- 10,000-liter capacity suitable for water backup (SG 1)
- Diameter: 2,420mm; Height: 2,550mm
- Made with best quality virgin LLDPE
- UV-stabilised outer layer
- BPA-free, food-grade layer preventing chemical leaching
- Black inner layer preventing algae growth
- Colour: Green
Mandatory Compliance Requirements
Bidders must submit:
- Valid Central Supplier Database (CSD) registration
- Completed SBD 4 Declaration of Interest and SBD 6.1 Preference Points forms
- Valid COIDA Certificate of Good Standing (not older than 12 months)
- Firm, VAT-inclusive pricing valid for 30 days from closing date
Compulsory Site Inspection Details
A mandatory site inspection will be held on 02 June 2026 at 11:00 at 2 Eco Glades, 420 Witch-Hazel Avenue, Centurion, 0046. Attendance is compulsory; failure to attend will result in disqualification.
