Tender Overview
The appointed provider will deliver comprehensive grounds maintenance services across municipal properties, gardens, and play parks. Tender Scope & Contract Sections
The contract covers three work areas, each evaluated separately:
- Section A: Ornamental Horticulture – Includes weeding, pruning, deadheading, litter control, and cleaning of hard surfaces at locations such as Klapmuts entrances, Kayamandi wall, and along the R44.
- Section B: Franschhoek Parks & Gardens – Covers the Town Hall Garden, suburb parks (e.g., Groendal, La Motte, Pinel, Lanquedoc), and the Circus Grounds Park.
- Section C: Municipal Premises/Gardens – A price-per-square-meter model for various municipal properties.
Compulsory Briefing Requirements
A mandatory clarification session will be held at Town Hall, 17 Plein Street, Stellenbosch. Attendance is compulsory; failure to participate will result in disqualification. Bidders must arrive prepared with identification and appropriate attire for potential site inspection components.
