- Sealed envelope clearly marked with bid number and description
- All pages initialled by authorised signatory
- Valid CSD number (CSD report attached)
- Bid forms completed in black ink only (no pencil, no correction fluid)
- Joint Venture agreement (if applicable) properly signed
- Municipal rates and taxes statement (or tribal authority letter / valid lease agreement) – for company and each director, not older than three months
- Completed & signed: MBD1, MBD4, MBD5, MBD6.1, MBD8, MBD9
- Certified ID copies of all directors/members/shareholders
- Company registration certificate
- All submissions must reach the municipal tender box by 10:00 on Tuesday, 02 June 2026
Any missing document or deviation leads to disqualification.
Eligibility and Compliance Criteria
Prospective bidders must demonstrate financial stability, relevant supply experience, and adherence to the Preferential Procurement Policy Framework Act. The 80/20 preference point system applies, with specific goals promoting local enterprise participation.
Delivery and Contract Terms
Successful suppliers will deliver to Polokwane Municipality Stores at Cnr Landdros Mare and Bodenstein Street. Delivery schedules will be agreed upon post-award, with off-loading responsibilities included in the scope.
