Product Specifications and Requirements
Bidders must supply A4 photocopy papers meeting the following specifications:
- Typek brand or equivalent quality standard
- 5 reams per box, with 10 boxes required per delivery cycle
- Firm pricing inclusive of VAT, valid for 90 days from closing date
- Delivery to NRCS Cape Town office within agreed lead times
- All items must be new, unused, and sourced from reputable manufacturers
Eligibility and Submission Criteria
Prospective bidders must demonstrate:
- Valid registration on the National Treasury Central Supplier Database (CSD)
- Completed Standard Bidding Documents (SBD 1, SBD 3.1, SBD 4, SBD 6.1, SBD 8, SBD 9)
- Valid SARS Tax Compliance Status PIN printout
- B-BBEE verification certificate or sworn affidavit for preference point allocation
- Proof of supply capability and relevant reference letters from similar contracts
Pricing and Evaluation Framework
Quotations will be evaluated using the 80/20 preference point system:
- 80 points allocated for price competitiveness (firm, VAT-inclusive pricing required)
- 20 points allocated for specific goals: locality within Western Cape and black ownership criteria
- All prices must include delivery costs to the designated Cape Town office location

The National Regulator for Compulsory Specifications reserves the right to accept or reject any quotation and is not bound to appoint the lowest-priced bidder.
