The Johannesburg Tourism Company (JTC), a City of Johannesburg Metropolitan Municipality entity, has issued a Request for Quotation (RFQ) under reference number JTC0016/2025-26 for the appointment of a service provider to supply and deliver office stationery and consumables on an “as and when required” basis. The contract supports JTC’s daily administrative operations across its Sandton offices and will be activated through official purchase orders over an unspecified term. Submissions must be hand-delivered by 11:00 on Wednesday, 12 March 2026, to the Sandton Library Offices, Nelson Mandela Square.
This is a strategic opportunity for registered stationery suppliers with reliable logistics and public sector experience.
Scope of Supply: Comprehensive Office Consumables
The successful service provider will supply a wide range of standard office items, including but not limited to:
- Writing instruments (pens, pencils, markers)
- Paper products (A4, A3, notebooks, sticky notes)
- Filing and storage supplies (folders, binders, box files)
- Desk accessories (staplers, hole punches, tape dispensers)
- Printer cartridges, toner, and ink
- Envelopes, labels, and presentation materials
All items must be new, unused, SABS-compliant where applicable, and delivered within three (3) working days of receiving a purchase order.
Mandatory Submission Requirements
To be considered, quotations must include:
- A formal quote on company letterhead with firm, VAT-inclusive pricing per item
- Valid SARS Tax Compliance PIN or clearance certificate
- Proof of registration on the Central Supplier Database (CSD)
- B-BBEE Certificate or sworn affidavit (Level 1–8 or EME/QSE)
- Completed Municipal Bidding Documents (MBDs), including MBD 4 (Declaration of Interest) and MBD 6.1 (Preference Points Claim)
- Company profile and evidence of past supply to public or private sector clients
Quotations must be submitted exclusively via hand delivery—no emails, faxes, couriered, or postal submissions will be accepted.
Evaluation Criteria: 80/20 Preferential Procurement System
Quotations will be scored using the 80/20 system:
- 80 points: Price (lowest compliant quote = 80; others scored proportionally)
- 20 points: Specific Goals, including Black, women, youth, disability ownership, and locality within Gauteng
Only complete, responsive, and compliant submissions will be evaluated.
