This strategic procurement targets qualified travel and hospitality enterprises to support the municipality’s administrative and operational mobility across Limpopo and beyond.

Mandatory Compliance and Evaluation
Proposals will be evaluated using the 80/20 Preferential Procurement Policy Framework. Bidders must submit a valid Tax Compliance Status PIN, CIPC registration documents, and proof of Central Supplier Database (CSD) registration. Additionally, applicants must provide proof that municipal rates and taxes are not in arrears for more than three months, alongside a portfolio of similar experiences executed over the past five years.
Mandatory Requirements
Compulsory Documents:
- Tax Compliance Status Letter or Tax Compliance Pin Number
- Company registration documents (e.g., CK)
- Proof of registration on CSD
- Proof that municipal rates and taxes for both the company and director(s) are not in arrears for more than three months (not older than three months from closing date)
- Where business operates from leased premises, valid lease agreement must be attached
- Where director does not own property or rents, valid lease agreement must also be provided
- For areas not subject to municipal billing, official signed and stamped letter from relevant local municipality (not older than three months) confirming the area is not subject to municipal billing and bidder is formally exempt from municipal service charges
- List of similar experiences executed in the past 5 years with clients’ contact details, description and contract values (attach signed appointment letters and/or purchase orders)
Strict Physical Submission Protocols
Sealed bid documents, clearly marked with the bid number and description, must be hand-delivered or couriered directly into the official Bid Box at the Thohoyandou Civic Centre, Old Agriven Building. Emailed, faxed, or late submissions will be summarily disqualified. Bids must remain valid for 90 days post-closure.
