The City of Mbombela invites qualified event management service providers to submit proposals for the coordination and management of the Youth Month Celebration Programme under tender reference COM61/2026. This strategic procurement opportunity supports youth empowerment initiatives and community engagement across the Mpumalanga municipality.
Scope of Services
The appointed service provider will be required to render the following services:
- Coordination and overall management of the event programme
- Provision and coordination of transportation services for 600 attendees and stakeholders (return trip from Matsulu A, B & C to Vodacom Park)
- Provision of catering services for 600 guests, including pap, rice, beef stew, roasted chicken and gravy, two salads, foam boxes, plastic spoons, serviettes, 500ml bottled still water, and assorted soft drinks (330ml)
- Provision, setup, operation, and breakdown of a professional sound system and related audio equipment (including laptop, stage 2.4m x 3.6m x 600cm with skirting, sure microphone, microphone stand, podium, and transport)
- On-site logistical support and event coordination throughout the programme
Programme Overview and Objectives
The appointed service provider will coordinate and manage a comprehensive Youth Month celebration at Matsulu Vodacom Park. The programme aims to commemorate Youth Month through meaningful community engagement, youth empowerment activities, and stakeholder participation aligned with the City of Mbombela’s developmental objectives.

Bidders must submit:
- Valid Tax Compliance Status (TCS) certificate
- Proof of company registration
- Certified ID copies of business directors
- Central Supplier Database (CSD) full registration report not older than 30 days from closing date
- Completed MBD forms as specified in tender documentation
