Polokwane Municipality invites qualified service providers to submit quotations for Tender PM38-25/26. The municipality seeks to appoint two (2) service providers to supply, print, and deliver sport apparels and promotional materials for all sport and recreation events. This is a three-year contract opportunity offering significant growth potential for established printing and apparel businesses in Limpopo and surrounding provinces.
Scope of Work (over 100 line items – partial list):
- T-shirts (180g), golf shirts, netball/soccer/volleyball kits
- Playing shorts, sweaters, drymacs, tracksuits, tights, blazers
- Sport bags, backpacks, water bottles, squeeze bottles
- Match & training balls (soccer, netball, rugby, tennis)
- Soccer boots, running shoes, travel bags
- Nets, whistles, corner flags, agility ladders, hurdles
- Trophies, medals (gold/silver/bronze), frames, lanyards
- Promotional materials: flyers, posters, banners, gazebos, pop-ups, backdrops, stretch tents, table cloths
- Indigenous games equipment: skei, morabaraba boards, moruba boards, kgathi ropes, dibeke balls
- And any other sport equipment as needs arise
Key Submission Requirements
Bidders must ensure compliance with all municipal procurement regulations. Key requirements include:
- Valid CSD registration and tax compliance status
- BBBEE certification or sworn affidavit
- Company registration documents (CIPC)
- Proof of relevant experience in apparel supply or promotional material printing
- Completed SBD forms as stipulated in the tender document
