The 12-month programme is structured to address key areas critical for growth and sustainability in the chemical industry. Selected MSMEs will receive targeted support to bolster their operations and competitive edge. The core focus areas include:
- Quality Management (QMS): Implementing robust systems to ensure consistent product quality.
- Regulatory Compliance: Navigating and adhering to industry-specific regulations and standards.
- Market Access & Funding Readiness: Preparing businesses to enter new markets and become investment-ready.
- Product Quality Enhancement: Improving formulations and manufacturing processes for better market fit.
Strict Qualifying Criteria for Applicants
To ensure the programme benefits the intended target group, Gibela Business Incubator has set specific qualifying criteria. Applicants must meet all the following requirements to be considered:
- Be a Gauteng-based MSME.
- Have been operational for a minimum of 2 years and a maximum of 5 years.
- Be registered with the Companies and Intellectual Property Commission (CIPC).
- Be 100% owned by South African citizens.
- Be manufacturers of cleaning chemicals, personal care products, or industrial chemicals.
Application Process: How to Apply
Interested and qualifying businesses can apply through a simple process. Applications are to be submitted online via the official programme portal. The application steps are:
