    Detailed Lunch Menu and Service Requirements

    The appointed service provider will supply and serve a full lunch for 25 people, comprising:

    • Starches: Pap and rolls
    • Proteins: Braai chicken, boerewors, and beef
    • Sides: Chakalaka and potato salad
    • Beverages: 25 units each of soft drinks, bottled water, and 100% fruit juice

    All food must be prepared in a registered kitchen with a valid Certificate of Acceptability (CoA), delivered on time at 12:00 PM sharp, and served in a professional, organised manner. The caterer is responsible for setup, service, and cleanup, including the removal of all waste.

    Mandatory Documentation and Submission Rules

    To be considered responsive, bidders must submit the following via email to procurement@agrement.co.za:

    • A detailed quotation on company letterhead, inclusive of VAT
    • Valid SARS Tax Compliance Status (TCS) PIN or active Central Supplier Database (CSD) report
    • Completed SBD 4 (Declaration of Interest) and SBD 6.1 (Preference Points Claim)
    • Signed General Conditions of Contract
    • Proof of CoA for food handling

    The email subject line must read: “ASA 03/12/2025 – Catering for Operating Model Workshop”.
    Late, faxed, couriered, or hand-delivered submissions will not be accepted.

    Evaluation Criteria and Compliance Standards

    The RFQ will be evaluated under the 80/20 Preferential Procurement System:

    • 80 points for price competitiveness (lowest compliant quote receives full points)
    • 20 points for specific empowerment goals, including Black, women, youth, and disability ownership

    All preference claims must be substantiated with certified documentation. Only bidders meeting all administrative and technical requirements will be considered.
