The Independent Development Trust (IDT), a Schedule 2 public entity mandated to provide programme and project management services on behalf of the government, has issued a Request for Quotation (IDT/HO/COMMS-02/11/2026). This strategic procurement initiative seeks to appoint a service provider for the supply and delivery of branded IDT Golf T-shirts, ensuring high-quality corporate apparel that aligns with the organization’s professional image and branding guidelines.

  • Supply of IDT Golf T-shirts in specified colors, namely Navy Blue and Grey.
  • Provision of the garments in a detailed size breakdown as stipulated in the RFQ pricing schedule (ranging from Small to 2 Extra Large).
  • High-quality branding and embroidery or printing of the official IDT logo, adhering strictly to the organization’s corporate identity standards.
  • Delivery of all items to the IDT Head Office at Glenwood Office Park, Cnr. Oberon & Sprite Streets, Lynnwood Ridge, 0043, within the agreed lead time.

Mandatory Compliance Requirements

To be considered responsive, bidders must submit a complete and compliant quotation package. Essential submissions include:

  • A formal quotation on the bidder’s official company letterhead.
  • A valid Central Supplier Database (CSD) registration report reflecting an active MAAA status.
  • A current SARS Tax Compliance Status PIN.
  • A valid B-BBEE certificate or sworn affidavit.
  • A total quoted price that is inclusive of VAT, with no hidden costs.
  • Confirmation that the quoted price will remain firm and valid for a minimum of 60 days after the closing date of the RFQ.

Evaluation Criteria

Quotations will be evaluated based on administrative compliance, responsiveness to the technical specifications, and price competitiveness. The IDT will assess the quality of the proposed garments, the accuracy of the sizing breakdown, and the bidder’s ability to meet the required delivery timelines. Bids that fail to provide a comprehensive breakdown or do not meet the mandatory compliance criteria will be disqualified.
