    Scope of Work

    The successful bidder will supply, deliver, and install seven portable prefabricated mobile office containers and seven guard rooms. Key requirements include:

    • Mobile prefabricated office containers with corridors for Practiseer Regional Office and Ephraim Mogale Fire Station.
    • Each container to include six offices (3m² each), two flushing toilets (SABS certified ceramic), and a small kitchen (2m²) with a two-door cabinet and single sink.
    • Windows with aluminium top-hung frames and burglar proofing on all opening windows.
    • Electrical wiring per SANS 10142-1:2008 with distribution board and ceiling-mounted waterproof fluorescent lights.
    • Panels must conform to DIN 4102 B2 fire rating.
    • Air-conditioning units (12,000 BTU) with thermostat, remote control, and both cooling and heating functions.
    • White porcelain wash hand basins with pedestals and steel single basin kitchen sinks.
    • Veranda/door canopies, steps, and handrails attached to doors.

    • Certificate of Authority for Joint Venture (where applicable).
    • Original certified copy of identity documents for directors not older than three months.
    • Copy of company registration documents or CK1 for close corporations.
    • Valid Tax Clearance Certificate or PIN issued by SARS.
    • Compliant CSD Registration/CSD Summary Report.
    • Invitation to Bid, Part A and B (MBD1).
    • Pricing Schedule.
    • Declaration of Interest (MBD4).
    • Preference Points Claim Form (MBD 6.1).
    • Contract Form – Rendering of Services (MBD 7.2).
    • Declaration of Bidder’s Past Supply Chain Management Practices (MBD8).

    Evaluation Criteria

    The 80/20 preference point system will be applicable during the evaluation of bids. The first stage involves evaluation of returnable documents and completeness. The second stage applies the preferential point system, with 80 points allocated for price and 20 points for specific goals. Bidders must submit proof of documentation to claim points for specific goals, including HDI status, woman ownership, and disability ownership.
