Limpopo Agriculture Seeks Catering Services at Tompi Seleka College

The Limpopo Department of Agriculture and Rural Development has re-advertised a Request for Bid (ACDP 24/19) for the rendering of catering services, including the leasing of a kitchen and tuck shop, at the Tompi Seleka College of Agriculture. This strategic three-year contract aims to provide high-quality, reliable food and grocery services to learners, farmers, staff, and the broader college community.

Scope of Services

The successful service provider will be responsible for the daily operation and management of the designated catering facilities. Key deliverables include:

  • Preparing and serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner according to strict catering regulations.
  • Operating the tuck shop to supply minor groceries and lunch items during specified operating hours.
  • Maintaining all non-movable government property with reasonable care.
  • Paying a specified monthly rental fee to the college (R1,247.00 for the tuck shop and R6,235.00 for the kitchen, subject to annual tariff adjustments).

Compulsory Briefing Session

Attendance at the pre-tender briefing is strictly mandatory. Bidders who fail to attend and sign the register will be automatically disqualified from the evaluation process.

  • Bidders Disclosure – SBD 4 (fully completed and signed)
  • Preference Point Claim Form – SBD 6.1 (fully completed and signed)

Submission Requirements

Completed bid documents must be delivered in sealed envelopes, clearly marked with the tender number and description. Submissions must be deposited in the official tender box at the foyer of Temo Towers, 67/69 Biccard Street, Polokwane, before the strict closing deadline. Late bids will not be accepted under any circumstances.
