Key Requirements
Bidders must submit:
- A completed Specialisation Schedule indicating the service(s) bidding for
- At least three completed project reference letters from the public sector within the last five years with the minimum contract values for each specialisation
- Valid proof of Professional Body/Association/Affiliation/Registration/Membership
- A valid ICASA License for Radio and Television Media specialisations
Evaluation and Preference Points
The 80/20 preference point system applies:
- Race: Up to 10 points for ≥ 50% Black Owned (HDP) or 5 points for < 50%
- Locality: Up to 10 points for an office based in the uMgungundlovu District, 7 points for KwaZulu-Natal (outside uMDM), or 5 points outside the province
Submission Details
Tenders must be placed in the bid box at 242 Langalibalele Street, Pietermaritzburg. Bids must remain valid for 90 days. The Municipality does not bind itself to the lowest tender.
