Scope of Work
The NGB requires a service provider to supply and deliver groceries on an ad hoc basis for a period of twelve months . Monthly orders will be placed based on the unit costs provided. Required items include:
- Clover Full Cream and Low Fat Milk (1 litre)
- Jacobs Coffee and Nescafe Classic (200g)
- Freshpak Pure Rooibos and Joko Teabags (500g)
- Cremora Coffee and Tea Creamer (750g)
- Selati Golden Brown Sugar (2kg)
- Mr. Sheen Automatic Dishwasher Tablets (2kg)
Mandatory Requirements
Bidders must be registered on the Central Supplier Database (CSD) prior to submission . Quotations must include:
- Completed and signed SBD 4 (Bidder’s Disclosure)
- Completed and signed SBD 6.1 (Preference Points Claim Form)
- Valid Tax PIN
- Firm prices valid for 30 days
Evaluation Process
The 80/20 preference point system will apply. Quotations will first be checked for compliance with mandatory documents. Bids that fail to quote for all required items will not advance to the price and specific goals evaluation phase.
Specific goals points are awarded for:
- Black ownership (up to 8 points)
- Women ownership (up to 5 points)
- Disability ownership (up to 4 points)
- SMME classification (up to 3 points)

Quotations must be emailed to scm@ngb.org.za by the closing date. The NGB reserves the right not to appoint a service provider and is not obliged to provide reasons for the rejection of any quotation.
