Transnet Port Terminals (TPT), a division of Transnet SOC Ltd, has issued Request for Quotation TPT/2026/07/0828/9245/RFQ 164069 for the provision of canteen services. This three-month contract targets capable catering and food service providers to support daily operations at the Port of Richards Bay Terminal in KwaZulu-Natal.
Scope of Works and Facility Operations
The successful bidder will be responsible for:
- Providing professional canteen services for Transnet.
- Preparing and serving meals in accordance with agreed standards.
- Maintaining food safety and hygiene practices.
- Managing daily canteen operations efficiently.
- Delivering services for the full three-month contract period.

Mandatory Compliance and Evaluation
Bidders must meet stringent eligibility criteria outlined in the Transnet Digital Procurement System (TDPS). All pricing must be quoted in South African Rand, inclusive of VAT.
